10:30 am - RHFL Sunday Worship - Maranatha Christmas - Pt. 3 - Waiting for the Lord to Come
Waiting can feel unbearable, but God is always at work, even when He seems silent. The story of Jesus’ birth reminds us that God’s timing is perfect—prophesied centuries before, fulfilled "when the set time had fully come" (Galatians 4:4-5). From Genesis to the intertestamental period, God was preparing the world for Christ’s arrival, showing that His delays are not denials but purposeful. While we wait—whether for healing, provision, or answers—God works behind the scenes to shape us, fulfill His promises, and align circumstances for His glory. Just as God sent Jesus at the perfect time, we can trust His good plans for us, knowing that waiting is not wasted when it draws us closer to Him. Even now, God patiently waits for us to trust Him fully, because His love, timing, and purpose are always perfect. While we’re waiting, He’s working.
