More About Rkidz

RKidz is thoughtfully crafted with your child's needs at heart. We are dedicated to creating an environment where every child feels safe, loved, and welcomed while discovering God's plan for them. Our goal is to collaborate with parents to guide and nurture children into devoted followers of Jesus. Come be a part of the excitement and watch as your child encounters Jesus in a way that speaks directly to them!
6 weeks to 2 years old

nursery

In our early childhood ministries, your child will be cherished by dedicated leaders who recognize that young hearts connect with God's love through joyful play, engaging songs, and simple Bible stories.   Here, safe spaces will be created so parents can engage and thrive  in the worship service.

THE ROCK

The Rock guides kids through the Bible in chronological order, helping them see how each story contributes to the overarching narrative of God's love and redemption. In class, children will engage with Topher the Gopher, who brings the Bible stories to life. They will also participate in small groups where they can explore how to apply their faith to their lives and have meaningful opportunities to respond and grow.
Kindergarten to 3rd grade

THE HARBOR

At The Harbor, we believe there's no Junior Holy Spirit. Our program presents the Big Bible Story through engaging  activities and a small group time. The children will go through the Bible in a chronological, age-appropriate way, where they will take their Sundays into the rest of their week.

The Harbor is split into two classes!
K-1st and 2-3rd

club 456

Club456 is a preteen group that engages in the bible story through interactive teaching, small groups, and activities.  We want every student to have the opportunity to respond to God through prayer, Bible reading, and community.  This group also meets once a month on a Friday from 4-6pm (see events page).  Our mission for this group is to make disciples that make disciples by the way we laugh, love, and live out the gospel of Jesus Christ.  They are world changers!

How do I check in my child?
From the moment you pull in the parking lot, you’ll notice lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way. Our 1st time greeters will be happy to direct you as you walk up to Rock Harbor.

Your first stop when you arrive is the check-in stations there will be a volunteer to help you. We care about you and your child, and so we’ll take some time to get to know you by filling out detail on the computer.

Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. This coded sticker is what you’ll use to pick-up your child after service. Your child will only be released to the adult who presents this sticker.
Where does my child go after they are checked in?
We believe that children belong in church because they are The Church of today, not just the future. They will start in worship with you and then will be dismissed after the childrens time with the brown box. 3yr-6th grade will be invited to go to thier classes and dismissed by following thier teachers who will be holding signs.
What about Infants - 2yr olds?
Baby-2 year olds can go to their class at the beginning of service. Teachers will arrive 15 min early to receive them. We also have a mothers room available that is live streaming the service.
What if my child needs me during the service?
While we want children to be happy and content in our environments, sometimes they have to work through separation anxiety until they are comfortable being away from family during services. If your child’s crying persists for more than 10 minutes, they are screaming or distressed, or they become sick or injured, we will notify parents immediately through text message.
Will my child be safe?
We take lots of steps before kids arrive to keep them safe. Every toy and environment gets cleaned and sanitized. And, every volunteer is screened with an interview and background check. Our whole team — from staff members to small group leaders to safety personnel — are trained to keep your kids safe.
How do you handle food allergies?
There is a place to indicate your child’s food allergies on their name tag. We only offer snack in our Early Childhood & The Rock environments.
