Before Paul became a missionary, church planter, and apostle, he was Saul—a deeply religious man who knew Scripture, possessed an impressive résumé, and was completely wrong about Jesus.

In the opening message of The Footsteps of Paul, Pastor Kevin follows four movements through Saul’s conversion:

JESUS STOPS US — Grace interrupts the road that is destroying us.

JESUS CONFRONTS US — Religious activity cannot replace surrender to Jesus.

JESUS CHANGES US — Conversion gives us a new Lord, identity, direction, and life.

JESUS SENDS US — Grace does not end with us; Jesus sends us to carry His name to others.

The Good News for us today is that Jesus meets us where we are, changes who we are, and sends us where He wants us to go.

This message reminds us that religious people need conversion just as much as openly rebellious people, no one is beyond the reach of grace, and present resistance does not mean permanent impossibility.

The question is not simply whether we are religious.

The question is whether Jesus is Lord.
