What do you do when you’ve tried to be faithful, but things are still difficult? It can be tempting to give up—or push harder and try to make everything happen yourself.
When Paul arrived in Corinth, God provided friends, opened unexpected doors, and encouraged him to keep speaking. Through ordinary work with Priscilla and Aquila, opposition in the synagogue, and an opportunity right next door, Paul discovered that Jesus was still at work.
In this message, Pastor Kevin Diamond explores three encouraging truths:
1. God can use you.
2. God can lead you.
3. God’s not done with you.
Faithfulness doesn’t always mean fighting harder or insisting on our own plans. Sometimes it means becoming still before the Lord, surrendering control, and listening for the next step of obedience. We can plant and water, but only God can bring the growth.
The Good News for us today is that Jesus is with us, so we can faithfully plant and trust Him to bring the growth without having to make everything happen on our own.
Just because it is difficult doesn’t mean it is done.
